Matohwe Leather Jacket

Fruits & Foods

$4,800 USDMade to Order

The Matohwe Leather Jacket extends Matohwe into leather and suede. Curved panels travel across the cropped body and sleeves, forming a rounded silhouette through alternating fields of green calfskin and warm brown calf suede.

Contrast piping traces the construction, defining the jacket's sculpted seams and exaggerated sleeves.

The piece develops from Matohwe, one of the sources introduced in Tammarê's inaugural collection.

The Source

The jacket develops from Matohwe — the fruit gathered and eaten straight from the tree, split open by hand. Its segmented capsule becomes the curved panels of the body and sleeves.
