The Source
Eastgate, Harare: a building cooled the way a termite mound is cooled, drawing air through mass instead of conditioning it. Zimbabwean engineering answering Zimbabwean climate.
The Design
The design follows the movement of air through the section — the vents, the stacks, the intervals of the façade — set on an orange ground that holds the building's heat.
The Method
Sectional study translated into flat repeat, tested at both scales before separation for double-sided printing.
